Very informative
It help me to understand how to start your own farm and understand how we should think obout farms
I this season I’ve learnt about the 13 principles of agroecology and the food forest. I also learned about the 7different layers found in a food forest which consists different plants in it , some of these plants are seasonal which means they require replanting, while others last long enough to feed people generations .in conclusion food forest is a perfect example of agroecology because it combines both agriculture and ecology and it shows how diversity and balance makes the whole system stronger.
I’m very happy that today I have learnt a lot of things regarding agroecology
This unit gave me a clear understanding of agroecology and how they connect to sustainable farming. I enjoy learning about the food forest soil test and the importance of biodiversity. The quizzes help me to check my knowledge, and the examples were practical for real-life application. This course is motivating and will help me to apply agroecology practices in my community and business.

Very informative
I enjoyed this intro to agroecology. It covers a nice amount of information to help me understand how we should think about our farms serving different functions and taking the resources, animals, people and heritage into account. I like the use of a food forest as an agroecological system. It would be nice to incorporate the possible actions of the animals that we may come across in our food forest, maybe even our own chickens scratching around in the areas we want them in.
