This waste economy learning pathway, a collaboration with eWASA, is designed to provide a general introduction to a vital component of the circular economy, followed by introductory micro-learning units on recycling different types of material. The completion time for each unit is estimated to be two hours, with associated tasks to take your learning into the real world. 

The introductory course concludes with a bonus module – An Introduction to Wastepreneurship. This includes a step-by-step guide on starting a buy-back centre.  

Starting from unit one is highly recommended, to gain an overview of the sector. The course content was developed within the South African regulatory framework.
